Job Profile Summary:

Follow manufacturing methods to perform welding tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area.

As required by the manufacturing process, will operate manual grinding equipment.

Performs visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications.

Helps facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team.

Responsible for supporting the team and team's objectives.

Responsible for training team members.

Required to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.

Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.

Follows company procedures for Safety, Quality and Compliance.

Responsibilities:

Ability to read and interpret Process instructions (WPS, PQR).

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools, cutting torch, air tools and precision measuring equipment.

Ability to operate material moving equipment/overhead crane and/or obtain certification.

Basic computer skills

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in similar manufacturing environment.
