Survey Crew Chief - Military veterans preferred

Hoyle Tanner has an immediate full-time, year-round position for a Survey Field Crew Chief in the Northeast Municipal Engineering (NEME) Services Group. You will provide a broad range of survey assistance and support to Land Surveyors, Project Managers, Licensed Engineers, and Construction Managers.

As a Survey Crew Chief, you will:

• Be a Self-motivated individual who is detail-oriented and dependable,
• Have experience with all aspects of Boundary and Topographic surveying,
• Have experience with Trimble Surveying Equipment is a plus,
• Use software and other tools to develop base plans
• Complete assignments with direction from the Lead Surveyor, Project Manager or Project Engineer
• Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills
• Increase knowledge through continuous learning within and outside the organization

Requirements:

· Minimum three years of surveying experience under the direction of a licensed land surveyor with one year as a crew chief

· Clean driving record

· AS or BS degree
