Overview

Corgan is seeking a Sustainable Design Consultant to join the firm in our Dallas office location to support our Data Centers studio. Corgan uses data and dialogue to design places that are functional, responsible and strive for aesthetic excellence. We’re an employee-owned firm driven by research that informs elevated user experiences, and insights that anticipate a rapidly changing world. It’s how we design structures and spaces that reach beyond our clients’ initial goals.

At Corgan, we believe we have a fundamental responsibility to be good stewards of the environment and the world’s resources. With a deep understanding of the role that the built environment plays in shaping both societies and the physical world, we believe that what we design can profoundly and pro-actively strengthen communities and society by creating a physical environment that is more sustainable, more resilient, more equitable, and at its highest order, restorative of the inherit impact that the built environment has on communities and the planet.

We accomplish this through a thoughtful and integrated approach to design that balances the built and natural environment. We are informed by a deep understanding of ecological systems, physical and cultural infrastructure, the impacts of material production and use, building siting and massing, building systems, economics, and construction methodologies. Sustainable design is more than numbers and checklists, but a holistic approach that addresses meeting the needs of the present with a comprehensive understanding of both the impact and positive potentials of what we design can have on the future we all share.

To support our environmental ethos and goals, Corgan has established a dedicated group of experts under ‘ECHO’. ECHO provides expertise, design support and detailed analytics around all aspects of environmental and social sustainability as well as climate change adaptation in the built environment.
