JOB SUMMARY:

Design, implement, and maintain the networking infrastructure for the global organization, to include installation, configuration, and monitoring of firewalls, voice, and wireless infrastructure. Design and perform network security measures to protect data and systems. Develop and maintain network documentation, including networking topology maps and troubleshooting processes and procedures.



Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Own the design, operational management, and architecture of the global network, to include all routing (BGP/EIGRP), ISP Management, MPLS and VPNs, and SIP Cloud, VLAN management, and WIFI.
  2. Drive development and implementation of network security components—Palo Alto firewalls, network access control, central policy management, and VPN services
  3. Support cloud and application networking, Azure/Public Cloud networking, and SDWAN
  4. Design and support network support services including accelerations, DNS, and DHCP
  5. Design and provide advisory support for physical plant networking, including fiber and copper connections


Qualifications

MINIMUMS:

  • Ten (10) years of total experience in Information Systems or Information Technology
  • Two year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
  • Eight (8) years of Enterprise Cisco Networking Experience
  • Eight (8) years of Enterprise Firewall Experience (Palo Alto preferred)
  • Wireless experience (Aruba preferred)
  • CCNP/CCSP/PCNSE or equivalent certification, training, and/or architecting experience

PREFERRED:

  • Four year degree heavily preferred
  • Ten (10) years of Cisco Networking Experience
  • Aruba Wireless and Aruba switching experience
  • Additional Aruba, CCNP, PCNSE or equivalent certification, training, and/or architecture

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Experience in networking field at a large enterprise scale including WAN, LAN, data center, and cloud. Detailed knowledge of Cisco and Microsoft networking
  • Highly proficient in network design and engineering
  • Track record of creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation and drawings for network solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Create SOPs and maintenance plans
    • Describe Systems and provide clear network drawings
    • Create detailed RCA reports
    • Develop strong, clear RFP’s
    • Evaluate RFP responses and bids to optimize disparate technology decisions
  • Demonstrable problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels and across cultures/languages
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to work as part of a team
