Our toner operation in Lawrenceville, GA, continues to grow, and we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support the production of toner products. Join the team!

Using practical leadership skills, teamwork, and a hands-on approach, the Mechanical Engineer will participate in project teams and work individually on projects designing, modifying, or improving process equipment and implementing new processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, select, order, install, and validate equipment used in the manufacturing processes and recommend equipment modifications to improve production efficiencies and production yields.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process problems, determining the root cause of equipment failures/problems and recommending countermeasures.
  • Analyze and identify modifications that can be made to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Design, fabricate, or arrange for external fabrication of new equipment and replacement parts.
  • Create, write, and/or modify preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, start-up, and other procedures and develop preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare technical and progress reports. Prepare and deliver presentations.

Required

Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience

Required

Experience with equipment layout design and utility requirements.
Technical hands-on equipment troubleshooting and machine fabrication.
Hands-on experience with equipment installation, contractor work scope, and construction management.
Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation skills utilizing PwrPt.
Strong math, statistical analysis, problem-solving, project management, and research skills.
Intermediate skills in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and drawing software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) required.

Preferred

Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing equipment engineering in the powder handling industry
