Responsibilities

  • Review daily all tickets for next day installations. Route installations, prepare a route sheet (save for one year) and have Service Center Manager approve. All products need to be pulled and loaded into van nightly before the next day’s installations.
  • Coordinate with Sanitary Maintenance Consultants and Service Center Manager for appointments.
  • Restock all returned merchandise not used after warehouse manager has checked merchandise for return to stock and signed off.
  • Practice the Basics of Service with customers (internal & external) at all times. Maintain cleanliness at all job sites (i.e. pick up all trash & dust surfaces as necessary.)
  • Daily: Maintain and keep the vehicle clean at all times, inside and out, dispose of all trash (i.e. cardboard cartons, plastic, etc.) Responsible for maintaining installation van log. Check oil, battery, and radiator. Power steering and brake fluid should be checked (weekly.)
  • Label and repair all vending machines as required when brought into Service Center for repair or done on site.
  • When repairing vendors, if the estimated cost to repair is close to or exceeds the price of a new unit, inform the customer, Sanitary Maintenance Consultant and Service Center Manager. If estimates are requested, notify Service Center Manager and Service Center Manager will relay information to customer.
  • Install all dispensers to city codes (ADA Compliant.) Have customer sign installation waiver for damages to tile and mirrors prior to work being done.
  • Indicate on packing slip number of units installed and equal number must appear for labor, using item #638308 (this is not optional.) Also, note time of arrival and departure on each packing slip in the upper right hand corner.
  • Responsible for all tools and equipment in or assigned to installation van.
  • Responsible for reporting any discrepancies and or changes on packing slips to Service Center Manager.
  • Notify Service Center Manager immediately if vehicle or equipment malfunctions and repairs of any type are needed. Damage to property, equipment or vehicles must be reported immediately to Service Center Manager or Operations Manager. All injuries must be reported to your immediate supervisor immediately.
  • Purchases authorized by Service Center Manager and accompanied by a purchase order are the only purchases that the installer is authorized to buy.
  • Responsible for writing up "Billing Only" to customer when installation fee is applicable and turn into Service Center Manager for approval.
  • Upon completion of the daily scheduled installations and upon return to office check in with Service Center Manager for further assignments. Turn in all paperwork and tickets to Data Processing for processing after being reviewed by Service Center Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

  • Must lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to read electrical schematics
  • Able to handle awkwardly sized items
  • Able to be forklift certified
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours
  • Computer literate
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
  • Work well with customers and employees.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Detail oriented and excellent follow up skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient PC Skills including Microsoft Office Suite, AS400, and Internet.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Well organized.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize.

This position offers a competitive starting salary and comprehensive benefits program.

Pay Rate: $22.69 - $29.00 per hour
