The Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support in the establishment and representation of private investment funds and their advisers. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Duties:

Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively. Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products. Successfully meet deadlines and expectations, and perform work duties as required. Foster positive work relationships. Comply with all firm policies and practices. Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:

Working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing. Participating in digital/virtual conference calls. Participating in meetings as needed.

Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned. Requirements:

3-6 years of experience. Admitted to practice in Illinois. Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience. Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of experience with the establishment and representation of private investment funds and their advisers. Experience with Advisers Act regulatory matters. Experience representing institutional investors in private funds. Experience in secondary transactions and structuring carry vehicles. Strong academic background. Strong analytical and writing skills. Good business judgment. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
