The role of the Investment Operations Associate includes, but is not limited to, entering trade orders, reviewing trade blotters, working with counterparties & FCMs, reconciling trading activity, entering new security setup information, setting up new portfolios, and supporting the Investment Operations team as needed. This position will also have communications across various departments, and will also support Investment Strategy trading as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Performs trade processing reviews to ensure settlement and confirmations are properly executed.Reconciles trade activity related to cash, investment holdings, and transfers.Supports daily margining, settlement, and reconciliation of derivative positions with related counterparties.Assists in maintaining portfolios and resolves any set-up issues in a timely manner.Assists the Investment Operations team with projects and requests to ensure timely completion of requests.Maintains documentation and support for any portfolio changes, regulatory, transfer and Internal Audit requests.Completes ad hoc requests and reports.Supports the Investment Operations team and other departments on an as needed basis.Willingly takes on additional responsibilities as requested in order to accomplish department and Company objectives.Actively participates and contributes to the goals and objectives of the Company by working collaboratively and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.Skills and Abilities:Familiarity with working across multiple asset classes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.Self-motivator and proactively seeks solutions to issues as they arise.Ability to research, analyze and evaluate.Capable of resolving systems issues independently as they arise in the trading system.Intermediate working knowledge and application of MicroSoft Office, specifically Excel.Training or Work ExperienceMinimum 1 year of relevant experience in trade operations required.Minimum 1 year of experience working in a trading platform required.General understanding of ISDAs, CSAs & MCAs required.Familiarity with utilities such as SWIFT, FIX and DTC preferred.Education:Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance or EconomicsWorking Conditions:Mostly On-Site Location: Chicago, Illinois.Business Travel: Travel not required/likely.#LI-ML1#LI-HYBRIDEquiTrust is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.
