Full Time- Insurance Agent:

?This role is working for an Allstate Insurance Agency. We sell Property and Casualty products such as Auto, Home, Boat, Motorcycle, Renters Insurance policies.

PURPOSE: Works directly with the Agency Manager and/or Sales Leader to achieve the sales goals of the Agency. Producers are also responsible for assisting in management of specific processes, insuring accomplishment of all goals and expectations as well as servicing existing clients.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: Every Sales Agent must have their Property & Casualty (P&C) OR Personal Line (PL) license prior to being employed with our agency. The cost of this licensing is to be incurred by the team member. Within 180 days of employment every Sales Agent is strongly encouraged to obtain their Life and Health (L&H) license. The agency is willing to assist on this licensing on a case-by-case basis.

MINIMUM PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Will be determined by the agency manager and will be updated monthly with any changes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Use agency systems to document EVERY interaction with EVERY customer EVERY time.

Prepare agency solicitation, renewal mailers, and other customer mailers.

Follow up and complete all trailing documents for new and existing clients.

Answer incoming calls expeditiously and courteously own the call transfer only when necessary.

Greets all customers coming into the agency in a friendly and helpful manner.

Receives and processes insurance payments.

Receives and processes endorsements in an expeditious and efficient manner. Document everything in eAgent 100% of the time.

Provide and verify general and non-technical information to inquiries over the telephone or in-person.

Believe and LIVE the fact that your role is not to simply give good service with a smile. Your role is to get to know your customers, understand what is important to them, give them good advice, and to recommend products and services to protect their family. You are a Trusted Advisor and must deliver that value proposition in every customer interaction.

Complete new business entry into agency system immediately upon the close of a sale, obtain all necessary signatures and trailing documents, obtain ALL prior insurance / other documents BEFORE BINDING when applicable.

Make outbound calls to obtain and work with clients.

Work Retain lists as assigned using agency systems following the rules and guidelines as set by your Sales Leader and/or Agency Manager.

Make the Agency Manager aware of any situation which should be monitored concerning any client having suspicious or frequent claims.

Attend all office meetings to plan growth and address concerns and upcoming classes and/or updates.

Cross sell existing clients following the lead with review process.

Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Actively review, improve, and increase product knowledge skills.

DAILY TRAINING REQUIRED for a minimum of 20 minutes first thing every morning.

Assist other employees as necessary (initial training, questions, general assistance, etc)
