The Wealth Management Associate role will report directly to the firm’s founder and be exposed to all facets of the RIA business. Candidate Requirements • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the financial services industry; preferred experience in investment management and/or financial planning functions. • Undergraduate Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) OR advanced degree (MBA, MSF). • Hold or be in the process of obtaining a professional certification (CFP, CIMA, CFA) and Series 65. Initial Job Responsibilities • Serve as the primary backup to the Client Service Associate for business operations support across the firm. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring the integrity of data within the firm’s portfolio management system and trading system, analyzing daily reporting, maintaining the firm’s CRM system and other proprietary processes, and managing ongoing work with the firm’s custodian (Charles Schwab). • Communicate with clients to address requests in a timely manner and assist in scheduling meetings and follow-up deliverables. • Manage the preparation, review, and delivery of critical reporting deliverables including quarterly client reporting and tax reporting. • Perform various portfolio management duties including the development of Investment Policy Statements, cash availability and withdrawal analysis, investment model updates, and trade execution and reviews. • Provide research support on existing investments and assist in the generation of new investment opportunities for clients. • Assist with the preparation of retirement plans, college savings plans, budgets, tax analysis, and various estate planning tools. • Manage ongoing compliance tasks as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer. • Assist in ongoing business development and marketing initiatives. The Wealth Management Associate role is designed to provide a strong foundation for a candidate looking to develop into an Investment Advisor role at the firm. The candidate is expected to leverage prior work experience and academics, on-the job training, and professional credentialing to develop expertise across the firms’ critical business segments including investment operations, client support, investment management and financial planning. Success in the Wealth Management Associate role will result in opportunities to build a book of business with potential ownership options at the firm. Benefits & Salary The Wealth Management Associate position is an exempt, full-time position. Business hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm.
