Regional Sales Engineer

to join our dynamic team in the Western USA as part of the LG Air Conditioning Technologies Sales Team! This qualified candidate will be responsible for the overall performance growth of the

San Diego and Hawaii markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for continued sales growth assuring LG Air Conditioning Technologies’ HVAC leadership position within the United States. The individual must have strong personal sales, relationship building, leadership, territory management and communication skills at all levels of an organization. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a strong HVAC grasp on the assigned market and the ability to strategically plan for its growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be expected to provide actionable competitive intelligence and regular territorial performance analysis to internal and external sales management. Job Requirements: • Manage sales growth objectives within our independent LG applied representative (AR) sales channel.• Develop and maintain a target list of key design engineers, contractors, architects, owners, and developers within the assigned territory.• Sell and promote LG HVAC and control technology products.• Provide ongoing training to the sales channel on all LG HVAC products.• Work with all design customers to influence their HVAC projects to utilize LG as their basis of design.• Design assist HVAC projects using the LG design and energy modeling tools.• Manage and track the status of projects throughout the sales process utilizing the LG pipeline management tool. Skillset Requirements: • 2 or 4 year degree in a technical field or equivalent proven related sales/engineering work experience.• 3 years minimum experience in sales establishing owner relationships with consulting engineers and constructing design teams.• 3 years minimum of HVAC design and application knowledge utilizing Chillers, VRF, DOAS and residential/light commercial products.• Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned Western U.S. sales territory.• Preferred candidate to reside in Southern California.• Self-Starter that is motivated and able to work independently from remote locations.• Strong understanding of project specifications and the ability to incorporate HVAC products into the designs.• Proven and successful experience in sales growth and territory management. Base Salary $86,000-$120,000In addition to the above, LG believes that pay transparency is a key part of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
