The Financial Report Specialist will play a vital role in the Financial Reporting team, responsible for external reporting functions, including the preparation of Form 10-Q/Ks and other SEC filings. This role involves collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and offers the possibility of remote work up to 100% of the time, with occasional travel to site locations.

This role offers the freedom to work remotely for a large portion of your time, with occasional visits to our headquarters or client locations. You can choose to live and work in almost any state in the US ( excluding CA, CT, IL, KS, KT, MA, MI, NH, NY, NC, OK, SC). We actively support remote work and will provide relocation assistance if the position transitions to full-time in-office in the future (based on eligibility).

Focus:

Assist in drafting footnotes, MD&A, and other sections of Form 10-Q/K or SEC filings.

Prepare quarterly earnings release and assist with SEC filings in Workiva, including iXBRL tagging.

Coordinate with external auditors, preparing comprehensive workpapers and supporting the audit process.

Participate in monthly accounting close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Gather and analyze data for external filings and internal management reports.

Stay updated on US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC Regulations, providing technical accounting guidance.

Contribute to special projects as requested by the Financial Reporting team.

Skill Set:

Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with three (3) years of accounting experience, OR Bachelors degree with five (5) years of relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

CPA preferred, but not required.

Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and SEC reporting requirements.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
