In addition, we rent Caterpillar and Other Preferred Manufactured Equipment for contractors.**

**THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLEASANT GROVE.**

**POSITION SUMMARY**

Represents Holt of Californias Earthmoving Division to customers and other businesses within a parts and service sales territory by performing the following duties.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Provides sales and marketing departments with territory needs and sales leads information.

* Travels throughout assigned territory to call on and sell all Earthmoving parts, service and related products.

* Responsible for executing sales plan for assigned territory to including cold calling and calling on assigned customers.

* Works as liaison between service departments and customers on service repairs.

* Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Works with credit department on required paperwork.

* Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

* Other duties may be assigned.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**SKILLS**

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

* Good public contact and interpersonal skills and conduct oneself in a manner that is professional and business-like at all times.

* Have a neat appearance, and well-groomed appearance.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**

Must have a valid driver license with a clean motor vehicle record report.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places.

The employee will be working in facilities and on job sites that may have loud machinery and/or equipment noises.

Monthly base salary plus commissions. Business expenses and company mileage plan included.
