Job Summary: The Risk Management Account Executive will be responsible for day-to-day servicing and marketing of several of our largest clients. The Account Executive will be the primary organizer of all commercial insurance coverage placements and after-sales policy administration for these customers. The Account Executive should be able to work independently, show initiative and resolve customer issues with minimal assistance from the Manager or Producer. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings. Identify and analyze clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions. Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients. Cross-sell and upsell insurance products to existing clients. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure client satisfaction. Process policy changes, endorsements, and claims efficiently. Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Keep accurate records of client interactions and transactions. Qualifications: Must hold a valid CA Fire & Casualty License. Minimum of 5 (five) years recent experience in the property & casualty department of a brokerage firm. Good understanding of all Commercial Lines coverage’s and related laws, codes, regulations; all aspects of marketing process; commercial insurance rating, insurance terminology and concepts; insurance company operations and their relation to the sales/marketing process as well as policy structure and content. Ability to analyze and explain coverage on commercial insurance policies ranging from Property insurance to Management Liability coverage. Knowledge of loss sensitive options, including at a minimum large Deductibles and SIR’s along with familiarity with loss sensitive marketing. Outstanding communication, written and verbal skills, good attitude, and excellent presentation skills. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a complex, demanding sales and service-oriented environment. Knowledge of and high proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Excellent time management and outstanding organizational skills in managing emails, TAM and shared-drive files. Work accuracy. Ability to travel independently to client and carrier meetings on a regular basis as well as to industry conferences and seminars several times annually. A commitment to total client satisfaction. Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business or insurance preferred Compensation $85k - $120k, DOE Schedule
