FCPs IR & Capital Raising function spans all aspects of investor reporting, relationship management with existing and new investors, and product/vehicle development. This position provides a rare opportunity to join a high-performing real estate private equity firm in our Washington, DC HQ office and play an active role on all aspects of investor relations and reporting execution.

YOUR IMPACT:

As an IR Capital Raising Associate/Sr. Associate, you will support our clients and investment decisions by:

Working with Finance, Asset Management, and Investment Teams to prepare investor communications including quarterly reporting, notifications, and incoming requests/inquiry templates

Creating financial analyses, including cash flow projections and fund-level calculations

Liaising with Data Analytics team to increase reporting efficiencies, standardize and validate reporting processes and data information

Analyzing qualitative, quantitative, and industry competitive landscape information and translate into strategic deliverables

Providing support and oversight to capital raising activities including preparation, proofread and formatting of marketing materials, offering memorandums and flash reports for existing and new vehicles

Liaising with third party services providers, including legal counsel and placement agents to execute capital raising activities

Collaborating with business leads to prepare, proofread and format internal and external presentations

Managing capital raising datarooms include file and contact management

Maintaining investor information, meeting notes, and documentation within internal CRM database and investor portal

Monitoring databases and research to develop and maintain investor and market intel and curate briefing materials for investor calls and meetings

Provide oversight for annual investor conferences and general investor meetings, including preparing presentation materials and meeting execution

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Five or more years of relevant work experience, preferably within an investor relations, fund accounting, or fund management capacity at a real estate, alternative investment, placement agent, or investment consulting firm

Bachelors Degree with excellent academic credentials

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Experience interfacing with institutional and/or retail investors

Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables

Ambitious self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management

Strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Proficiency in Salesforce and Investran, preferred

Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency with investment metrics and data analysis

A desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
