Associate Writer

The Associate Writer is an excellent writer with strong research skills and a genuine interest in learning about a variety of companies and industries. The Associate Writer exhibits attention to detail while working on multiple appraisal reports, communicating with team members and managing time effectively to meet deadlines. B. Riley Advisory Services - Inventory Group’s inventory appraisal reports describe the inventory, operations, industry, and

fi

nancial trends of a company to explain the strategy for liquidating the company’s inventory in the event of a liquidation sale. The appraisal reports identify the key factors impacting the inventory’s appraised value. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Produce three to four appraisal reports each month under the direction of their direct manager Conduct independent company and industry research online Integrate information obtained from

eld notes, management interviews, and team meetings Use

fi

nancial exhibits to write about key

fi

nancial trends Synthesize all independent research and team-provided information to produce a structured, insightful report Review report for errors
