We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as an Automation Tester
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test strategies to ensure the quality of software applications.
- Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and Karate to enhance testing efficiency.
- Utilize Core Java skills to write robust test code and improve test coverage.
- Conduct REST/API Service Testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects at the earliest.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and recommend solutions to improve product quality.
- Stay abreast of the latest testing tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in the testing process.
- Mentor junior engineers in the team, sharing knowledge and best practices in quality engineering.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to the refinement and estimation of stories with a focus on quality assurance aspects.
-Qualifications
- Proven experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Core Java, and REST/API Service Testing is mandatory.
- Familiarity with PL/SQL, Maven, and JavaScript will be advantageous.
- Experience with Jira, TestNG, and other testing tools like Test Complete is desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
- Understanding of BDD, SAFE, Scrum methodologies, and experience in the Payer domain will be highly regarded.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
