Manufacturing Shift Team Manager - Military veterans preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manages a team of production employees and activities in assigned area to assure timely production in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Develops and implements manufacturing schedules and procedures and allocates labor and capital resources to maximize productivity.
• Plans and manages production line maintenance and downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
• Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and employees in producing quality products.
• Evaluates and manages employees in assigned area; manages the labor pool and labor expenses within assigned areas.
• Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies, procedures and programs.
• Prepares documentation, reports and standard operating procedures as required.
• Provides support and prioritization for process improvements.
• Ensures budgets, schedules and performance requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Substantial manufacturing experience.
• Proven managerial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry. 
• Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements is required.   
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in related field, or equivalent vocational or technical education is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in Pharmaceutical and GMP manufacturing is preferred.
