Job Summary
The College of Medicine is currently seeking a Facilities Specialist Senior to support the planning of departmental needs and management of minor projects to assure the success of the College of Medicine. This individual will report to the Facilities Operations Director and will have frequent interaction with faculty and staff in a fast-paced work environment. Additional duties include:
- Coordinating and assisting with the planning of physical moves within a department, whole departments, divisions or programs of the College of Medicine.
- Managing and ensuring accuracy of the College of Medicine’s equipment and space inventory.
- Assisting with the reconciliation of renovation and work order accounts for College of Medicine Dean’s Office funded projects, plant fund projects, and communication’s charges for projects.
- Accompanies lab safety inspector to all labs in the College of Medicine for annual safety review and subsequent follow up for corrective action.

Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word; Autocad, SAP
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience
Five or more years in Architecture, Planning, Interior Design, Information Systems Management or related field and/or skilled trades experience and experience with space utilization work preferred.
