Job Summary

The Machine Operator is required to perform tasks involved in the production, inspection and packing of Altor Solutions' products and report to the appropriate individual (Production Supervisor, Mold Technician, Quality) if products have not met company quality standards. Must follow Altor Solutions' standards for Safety, Housekeeping, Quality and Production in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements:

· General mathematics.

· General computer skills

· Accurate use of a tape measure.

· Follow instructions; read, write, and speak English as necessary to operate machine and complete paperwork.

· Work independently as well as with a group.

· Ability to tolerate general manufacturing settings and conditions. Heat/ humidity and some chill.

· Carry up to 15 lbs. regularly and up to 40 with help.

· Ability to stand and walk during the entire shift.


Responsibilities

· Maintain quality compliance of product according to customer requirements.

· Complete hourly quality checks with complete accuracy.

· Communicating with team members and leadership.

· Schedule adherence.

· Packaging product according to customer requirements.

· Maintain safety standards.

· Other tasks assigned.


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 – 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand basic math.
