Summary:

As a Finance Process Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our finance operations through the development and implementation of automation solutions. Leveraging your expertise in finance processes and cutting-edge automation technologies, you will enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across all financial functions. Your work will directly contribute to the optimization of AP, AR, Treasury, and general accounting processes, making them more agile and data driven.

Reporting to: Director of Digital Enablement



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Automation Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions across financial operations including but not limited to AP, AR, Treasury, and General Accounting. Use RPA, AI, and machine learning technologies to streamline workflows, reduce manual errors, and increase process efficiency.
  1. System Integration and Optimization: Ensure seamless integration of automation tools with existing financial systems (e.g., SAP FICO) and other business applications. Optimize these integrations to improve data flow and accuracy, contributing to more informed decision-making.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting Automation: Automate financial reporting and analysis processes, utilizing BI tools to create dynamic reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into financial performance.
  1. Process Analysis and Re-engineering: Continuously analyze existing finance processes to identify automation opportunities. Re-engineer processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance scalability.
  1. Compliance and Control: Implement automation solutions that adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements. Ensure all automated processes are in line with financial regulations and standards.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure automation projects meet business needs and are aligned with overall company objectives. Facilitate knowledge sharing and training on new automation tools and processes.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in finance process automation, with a solid understanding of financial operations (AP, AR, Treasury, Accounting).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in RPA technologies (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere), BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and familiarity with financial systems like SAP FICO. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for process automation is a plus.
  • Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, or related field. Certifications in RPA or related technologies preferred.
