ITT Goulds Pumps is looking for a Logistic Supervisor to join their team in Seneca Falls, NY. The Logistics Supervisor is a hands on supervisory role that is ultimately responsible for the warehouse, inventory, and receiving areas and internal movement of products within the Seneca Falls Operations. The warehouse supervisor is competent in inventory best practices and can ensure the proper operation of warehousing and receiving areas.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership that drives operational excellence, continual improvement, and teamwork throughout the business unit; Executes day-to-day operations of the warehouse and receiving areas, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to safety.

Oversees and assists with warehouse auditing and cycle counts
Applies lean principles to warehouse processes, material movement process flows and inventory control
Position is ultimately responsible for overseeing all receiving of incoming freight, inspection and part number verification, quantity verification and stocking of product in appropriate locations as well as shipping correct quantities to the correct locations/internal customers including verification of correct documentation and part rev levels
Works with company SAP system to ensure accurate reporting of transactions, locations, stock levels etc.
Works cross functionally with manufacturing, purchasing, planning and leadership to ensure appropriate stock levels and shipments/deliveries
Participate in any lean and continuous improvement training or projects
Qualifications
HSD/GED is required
5+ years of warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment is required
5+ years of experience and a solid understanding of inventory control, warehouse flow, and warehouse setup
Prior experience managing others is required
Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is required (ERP implementation experience preferred, fully integrated ERP experience is also preferred)
Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
Excellent communication skills
Must be motivated and a self-starter with a positive attitude
Must be able to interface in a professional manner with customers
Must be able to manage others while being a hands on supervisor
