Overview

ITT Goulds Pumps has exciting opportunities for individuals to join our Customer Service team in Seneca Falls, NY. Such individuals are needed to fulfill roles of Parts expeditor and Spare Parts coordinator. These positions are instrumental with driving culture change within Operations in Seneca Falls by providing positive spotlight on Aftermarket sales orders with focus on eliminating delinquency and supporting OTP. Primary responsibility will be to provide order status as required, work with the respective departments daily to ensure of order throughput as well as superior customer service. Work closely with scheduling, purchasing, stockrooms, materials, quality assurance, shipping floors & operations to ensure customer satisfaction. These roles are to provide the voice of CSC in identifying & prioritizing critical requirements to operations through daily production meetings. When necessary, act as the liaison between CSC & Operations.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • As necessary provide timely & thorough updates to CSC relative to requests for schedules and completion dates. This will be primarily via email, Work Bench requests.
  • Work with Operations and internally departments to support daily shipments and to ensure Customers satisfaction as it relates to OTP measures.
  • Work closely with Materials and respective departments to support order throughput & to understand and address internal bottlenecks. Attend daily production meetings to prioritize workload & ensure that there is focus on Parts orders.
  • When necessary, work with Opers schedulers & purchasing to facilitate offloading of critical Aftermarket jobs.
  • Utilize daily reports to prioritize & follow up on backlog including delinquency and orders of significant $$ value.
  • Be proactive with identifying Aftermarket orders of significant value by coordinating with various departments on campus to ensure & support monthly finance goals.
  • Coordinate allocation, pick releases of SDS & S24 order types & facilitate downstream to ensure clean handoffs and execution in support of fulfilling critical customer requirements on daily basis.


Qualifications

Education:

  • 4 yr degree in a business or technical curriculum with a year of technical or sales experience OR
  • 2 yr degree in business or technical curriculum with five years’ experience, OR
  • High School degree with 5 or more years of experience

Experience:

  • Customer service, expediting within Materials, Purchasing, Operations & Production Control as well as an understanding of functions all within Manufacturing environment.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Strong computer skills, AS400 and Work Bench knowledge or have necessary skills to learn
  • Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills. Be able to interface in professional manner.
  • Ability to leverage purchasing & source - supply resources to address offloads & buy components to fulfill order requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and follow-up skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Seneca Falls products or demonstrated aptitude to quickly acquire this knowledge
  • Familiarity with domestic & export shipping terms & conditions
  • Understanding of procurement process
  • Knowledge of company organization
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment
  • Must have excellent teamwork skills, be a fast learner, goal-oriented, and a self-starter
