Overview:

We are looking for out-going, enthusiastic individuals with an eye for detail to join our opening team at the Kaiya Beach House. Bartenders will provide beverage service in our 1st floor lounge area overlooking our pool with stunning Gulf Coast views. You will be interacting daily with our discerning owners, club members and vacation renters and their families who are in search of the best service experience while being able to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of Kaiya and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of complimentary food & beverage offerings while maintaining cleanliness of bar and food service areas.
  • Serve wine, beer, smoothies, fresh juices & non-alcoholic cocktails to members & guests.
  • Guiding guests through all phases of their experience at Kaiya Beach House and exhibiting understanding of the resort amenities and local area.
  • Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and County health department.
  • Working as a team and effectively communicating with management, guest services and other team members to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by owners, members, guests and or other Associates.
  • Always being thoughtful, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team members, owners, members, and guests.
  • Flexible schedule available to work morning, afternoon and evenings, weekdays and weekends as well as holidays.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess positive attitude and desire to deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food are preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
  • Professional, neat and tidy personal appearance.
  • This position is available to individuals 18 years or older as service of alcoholic beverages will be required.
  • High School or equivalent education preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.
