We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with a strong background in ERP systems, infrastructure management, and Agile project methodologies to lead our IT department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex IT environments, particularly in manufacturing settings.
Responsibilities:
ERP Odessey BLM Experience: Preferred experience in managing QAD/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment. Ensure the optimal performance, availability, and integration of these systems with other business processes.
Data Management: Proficiency in SQL, Progress, and other data management tools to oversee data integrity, security, and accessibility within the organization.
Change Management: Implement and oversee changes to IT systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency for business operations.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement strategies for monitoring system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring scalability.
Security and Compliance: Maintain robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and external partners to assess IT needs, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships effectively.
Manufacturing Support: Provide specialized IT support tailored to the unique needs of a manufacturing environment, optimizing systems to enhance production efficiency.
Application Management: Oversee the management and integration of various business applications, ensuring seamless functionality across systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management roles, with a focus on ERP systems and manufacturing environments.
Proven experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of data management, including SQL, Progress, and other relevant tools.
Experience in change management, performance monitoring, security/compliance, vendor management, and budgeting within an IT setting.
Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and IT teams.
