Job Summary

• Performs duties concerning direct and indirect patient care as assigned. 
• Coordinates non-clinical activities of the Emergency Unit, transcribes physician orders, performs receptionist/secretarial duties and maintains the medical record of all patients on the assigned unit.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Medical terminology, computer skills and clerical experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment. 

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-8:00pm, weekday shifts; PRN (as needed)
  • Every other to every third weekend
  • Every other to every third holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
