Position: E-Commerce Lead The role of an eCommerce Lead is dynamic and requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and marketing skills to drive online sales and maintain a competitive edge in the digital marketplace. They play a crucial role in the success of an eCommerce business by optimizing its online presence, customer experience, and overall performance.Responsibilities Website Management: Managing the eCommerce website, ensuring listings and pricing are up to date to optimize sales. Product Management: Overseeing the product catalog, including product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing. This may involve adding new products, removing outdated ones, and ensuring accurate and consistent product information. Inventory Management: Monitoring and controlling FBA inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations. Pricing and Promotions: Setting and adjusting product prices, as well as planning and executing promotional campaigns and discounts to attract and retain customers. Customer Experience: Ensuring a seamless and positive online shopping experience for customers, including fast and secure checkout processes, responsive customer support, and easy navigation. Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing eCommerce performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rates, and revenue, and using this data to make data-driven decisions and improvements. 3rd party customer support relationship management Technology and Platform Integration: Staying updated with eCommerce technology trends and coordinating the integration of new features and tools to enhance the online shopping experience. Revenue budgeting and Financial Management: Managing the eCommerce budget, tracking expenses, and forecasting revenue and expenses. Compliance and Security: Ensuring that the eCommerce platform complies with relevant laws and regulations and implementing security measures to protect customer data. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role Bachelors’ degree in Digital Marketing or related field. Knowledge of ecommerce marketplace platforms Confidence developing and overseeing retail and eCommerce-focused digital marketing strategies. Excellent understanding ecommerce marketplace platforms Confidence in sales analysis, reporting tools and optimization.
