Overview
The Equipment Specialist will assist in driving the utilization of enterprise trailers. This person will communicate to the enterprise operations groups regarding equipment needs and status of outstanding equipment. This person will also be responsible for reporting out on the status of current lease and trade trailer initiatives and communicating with enterprise operations group as to the location of these trailers. Equipment Specialist will manage and drive non-reporting equipment, ensuring plans are in place to repair faulty equipment.
· Managing trailer data integrity (file maintenance, Fleet Locate, Orbcomm)
· Coordinating trailer retrieval from shops, or drop yards, with enterprise operations
· Trailer repositions (railing, trailer pools)
· Invoice verification/ PO Request/ PO + Invoice submissions
· Impound trailer retrieval
· Locating non-reporting trailers
· Track and assist in recovery of lost/stolen trailers
· Run and distribute reporting daily for visibility of trailer usage
· Coordinating with equipment on outside carriers
· Coordinating OS&D disposal
· Monthly trailer reconciliationwith accounting
· Work effectively with others and Management
· Coordinate with enterprise operations to ensure on time trade equipment turn in
Coordinate with enterprise planning and breakdown department on to ensure damaged and non-reporting equipment gets routed for repairs
· Proficient in Excel
· General phone skills
Excellent customer service skills
· High school diploma or equivalent

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range: $45,007.59 - $69,574.81
Pay Grade: 7
