Logistics Analyst with experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and managing the acquisition, engineering, and lifecycle sustainment of Marine Corps ground transportation programs and fielded assets.

The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; and
  • Four (4) to Six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience creating and maintaining Government Property (GP) inventory records; and
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of property management records and metrics;
  • Preparation of birthing, transfer and disposition documentation;
  • Providing accurate accounting, tracking, oversight for movement of, storage of and reporting on Government Furnished Property (GFP);
  • Conducting quarterly GP and supply inventories;
  • Coordinating maintenance and repair of GFP;
  • Performs customer liaison, makes presentations, and attends to customer needs;
  • Consults with stakeholders on technical applications to support program management decisions.
  • Travel expected up to 25% of the time.

Specific Requirements:

  • Journeyman level experience with Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC);
  • Familiarization with the following systems:
    1. Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS);
    2. Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance, and Property Transfer (iRAPT) system;
    3. FEDLOG
    4. FEDMall
    5. WebFLIS

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is commonly required to speak, hear, walk, sit, stand and balance; regularly required to use hands and reach with arms. The employee may on occasion lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
