What you’ll achieve You will be part of a growing team of technical subject matter experts driving sustainable solutions impacting our customers, 2030 Legacy of Good, and 2050 Carbon Neutrality goals. In this role you are part of a global interdisciplinary design and technology organization where you will be collaborating with teammates, product engineering, marketing, corporate sustainability and other critical stakeholders. The primary focus of this role is to develop data driven strategies and decision making guiding our technology roadmaps. Come help us make a difference driving solutions for the circular economy, the possibilities are endless. You will: Utilize Life Cycle Assessment methodologies to drive data-based decision making. Develop future forward strategies on materials, system design, and energy usage with other SME’s Provide insights to design team on trade off decisions through a circular economy lens Interface with suppliers and consultants to validate claims in Life Cycle Assessments done on DELL’s behalf. Work with our suppliers to collect primary data to refine our LCA modeling techniques Develop tools for internal teams to utilize when evaluating different solutions Contribute to efforts to drive industry standardization for LCA’s on IT equipment Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Master’s degree in field of Sustainability with a Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as engineering, materials Science or other technology related field Experience using Life Cycle Assessment modeling software tools such as Gabi and Simapro Strong understanding of life cycle thinking and other sustainability impact assessment methodologies ISO 14040/14044/14067 Methodology and GHG Protocol Ability to work in highly matrixed organization structures and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders. Maintain understanding of latest industry technology and the applicability to DELL’s roadmap Desirable Requirements Doctorate Materials Science or Materials Engineering. Experience working in consumer electronics field and/or general understanding of electronics Qualitative and Quantitative critical thinking.
