Banquet Server Part time - Military veterans preferred

Our client, in Banquet Fine Dining is seeking a server to join their team part time.  The ideal candidate will set up Banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include Linen, silverware and glassware for weddings and special events.        Open/pour wine and/or Champagne for quests. Prep and serve appetizer, serve plated dinner to quests, 3 course meal.which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Lake Forest, IL

Pay $20.00/hr.  Part time  some weekends  and some evenings

 

What’s the Job?
 

• Part time usually weekends and some evenings time varies. Could be afternoon event or an evening event. Not always every weekend.
• Serve a 3 course meal expertly and efficiently plus dessert
• Serve wine appropriately
• Answer questions about the meal being served
• Answer questions about the wine selection

 

What’s Needed?

• Experienced with fine dining service
• Some knowledge of wine selection
• Winning smile at all times
• Pleasant can do attitude
• All of above while working under pressure
