The Salesforce Release Manager assists in the ongoing administration of Salesforce.com including data maintenance and integrity, custom applications built on the platform, end user training, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient and effective utilization of Salesforce.com for all users. Duties and Responsiilities: • Manage Salesforce releases by providing leadership to manage and coordinate the deployment process across cross-functional teams. • Oversee ongoing administration and development of Salesforce.com. • Perform data management, including updating, de-duplication, import and export of records, and ongoing maintenance using various data management tools and maintenance routines. • Provide prompt support to end users to resolve Salesforce.com issues as they arise. Develop custom objects and applications, validation, and workflow to improve efficiency and productivity. • Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest enhancements to support business objectives. • Collaborate with technical resources to establish and maintain effective integration between Salesforce.com and other enterprise systems. • Manage development life cycle in Salesforce.com. • Oversee the DevOps process which includes managing the release cycle to increase the velocity that enhancements are delivered, improve the collaboration between the business, operations, and developers, and ensure the quality and security of releases. • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the release management tool (currently Salesforce DevOps Center). • Manage sandbox environments used for the release pipeline. • Responsible for the release roadmap, including keeping it up to date and communicating changes to all interested parties. • Manage public groups, role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, restriction rules, Enterprise Territory Management, and other security/sharing systems within Salesforce.com. • Maintain Territory zip code data in RealZips, including declarative customizations and custom code (Apex Classes), to work seamlessly with all other security components. • Oversee proactive system maintenance including Health Checks, Optimizer, Security Reviews, and Release Updates, and monitors unused or underutilized platform features. • Implement, configure, develop and support salesforce CRM, custom Apex, Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDs), Visualforce code, Apex triggers, Apex classes, custom controllers & extensions, Salesforce1, API’s and integrations to enterprise systems. • Migrate data from legacy systems to Salesforce using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard and Workbench. Implement software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering, analysis & architectural design using Agile – SCRUM and waterfall methodologies. • Implement CRM business processes such as Campaign Management, Lead Management, Account Management, Case Management, Quoting, and Forecasting. • Utilize Salesforce development tools including Apex language, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Controllers & Extensions, Apex REST & SOAP web services, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce (Pages, Components & Controllers). • Utilize Salesforce administration tools including Reports & Dashboards, Validation rules, Users, Roles, Profiles, Deployment (change sets), Workflow Rules, Flows, Approval process, Sandbox refreshments, Apex Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, packages, Custom Apps, Custom Labels, Sharing Settings, Email templates, Field Updates. • Utilize Certified Sales force Administrator 201 Certification. May Telecommute from anywhere in the US. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience in position offered or related position OR Master’s Degree in Digital Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in position offered or related position. • Must have at least two (2) of experience with each of the following: o Implementing software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering, analysis & architectural design using Agile – SCRUM and waterfall methodologies o Implementing CRM business processes like Campaign Management, Lead Management, Account Management, Case Management, Quoting, and Forecasting. o Utilizing Salesforce development tools including Apex language, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Controllers & Extensions, Apex REST & SOAP web services, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce (Pages, Components & Controllers). o Utilizing Salesforce administration tools including Reports & Dashboards, Validation rules, Users, Roles, Profiles, Deployment (change sets), Workflow Rules, Flows, Approval process, Sandbox refreshments, Apex Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, packages, Custom Apps, Custom Labels, Sharing Settings, Email templates, Field Update. o Must have Certified Sales Force Administrator 201 Certification Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience, education, or training. Physical Requirements: The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities: • The ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time. • The ability to use your hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time. • The ability to talk and hear for 75% of applicable work time. • The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time. • Close Vision: The ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less. Salary: $109,000.00
