Drata is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join our scaling product marketing team This person will be part of product marketing leadership at one of the fastest growing, B2B SaaS startups ever to achieve unicorn status. We’re looking for someone who has experience in Cyber Security and identifies as a player-coach who is comfortable working cross-functionally. Experience in moving from product to platform positioning and value-based messaging is key. This role will report to Drata’s Head of Product Marketing, but will work cross-functionally across all teams, with a particular focus on Customer Success, Sales, Business Development, and Product. What you’ll do: Message Mastery : Develop compelling, differentiated messaging that resonates with our target audiences, clearly conveying the unique value Drata brings. Strategic Vision : Craft and implement a product marketing strategy that aligns with Dratas ambitions, leveraging market insights to capture and expand market share. Go-to-Market Excellence : Spearhead product with precision, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful market entry. Analyst Relations: Leverages industry expertise and technical knowledge from our market to work with analysts to shape Drata’s emerging category. Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive Adoption : Partner with the Product, Marketing (e.g. Demand Gen, Content, Brand, Customer), Customer Success and Data teams to track the right metrics and execute campaigns that drive awareness, education and adoption of critical capabilities Insight-Driven Innovation : Partner with the Revenue Team to regularly gather market and customer insights that identify problems we need to solve that inform and influence product strategy and development. What you’ll bring: 8-10 years of product marketing experience in the SaaS, cybersecurity, or compliance industries, or equivalent experience Experience scaling SaaS organization to $200M Experience navigating the transition from a multi-product solution to a platform Demonstrated success at launching new products and features in a SaaS environment; you own the metrics behind the launch, and know how to coach a team towards them Experience leading and growing a team of other talented PMM’s Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex cybersecurity concepts in clear, compelling terms to a variety of stakeholders. The applicable salary range for each US-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers based on the cost of labor for that geographic area. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. Tier 1: $210,375 - $259,875 Tier 2: $189,338 - $233,888 Tier 3: $168,300 - $207,900 A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s leveling and compensation – including a candidate’s professional background and experience.
