Responsibilities – Sales / Store Manager:

 

Sales:

 

  • Build repair estimates based on technician’s recommendations
  • Present options to the customer, overcoming objections as needed
  • Price jobs correctly and limit discounting to hit gross margins goals
  • Attain weekly, monthly and yearly targets
  • Ensure technicians are following all inspection & safety procedures
  • Keep shop payroll within company budget
  • Do whatever it takes to say “yes” to every customer
  • Operations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Bay management:

 

  • Source required parts for repair orders
  • Ensure the image of the staff, interior and exterior meet company standard
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Inventory management
  • Staffing and schedule management
  • Enforce company policy and guidelines
  • Manage technician training and development

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements – Sales / Store Manager:

  • Associate Degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of Automotive service, Sales and Customer service required
  • Experience managing a team of 4 or more preferred
  • Proven ability in sales growth
  • Have working knowledge of cars with the ability to aid and train technicians with repairs as needed.
  • Build repair estimates based on technician’s recommendations
  • Present options to the customer, overcoming objections and closing sales as needed
  • Ensure technicians are following all inspection & safety procedures
  • Do whatever it takes to say “yes” to every customer
  • Have the ability to source required parts for repair orders
  • Have the ability to manage technician training and development
  • Have an ambitious mindset for success
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
