About the Role

 

Teachers at Sagemont Preparatory School utilize our unique curriculum to help young students build a broad foundation of knowledge which they will build upon in our middle school program.

 

The 4th/5th Grade Writing Teacher will instruct students in the essential skills of writing, including grammar, composition, and creative expression, preparing them for future academic success. This role demands a passionate educator who can inspire and motivate young writers while adhering to our curriculum that promotes analytical thinking and creativity.

What We Are Looking For

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in teaching writing or related subjects at the elementary level preferred.
  • Strong understanding of language arts standards and teaching methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Eligibility to pass both state and federal background checks.
