This role is responsible for driving forward the cloud network architecture and service connectivity across Zillow Group. The successful candidate must demonstrate deep expertise in networking, cloud infrastructure, and microservice connectivity.
Infrastructure-as-code, cloud network architecture, and leadership are central to this role to effectively and efficiently deploy solutions which affect the entire company and the external customer experience.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will:
Design multi-region, multi-cloud network automation and services to increase autonomy
Implement customer-friendly, scalable connectivity solutions
Utilize Infrastructure-as-a-Code for seamless cloud network deployment and management
Establish secure controls and automation for public cloud infrastructure while fostering partnerships to optimize our products and services
Foster collaboration with stakeholders for timely and cost effective solutions
Shape operational standards and design patterns while mentoring team members

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
Possess over 8+ years of experience in technology and network engineering/architecture in a large enterprise environment
Have a strong background in cloud network solutions with leading public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Are fluent in Infrastructure-as-Code, container platforms, and networking protocols
Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts
Experience managing cloud security complexities
