SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Senior Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining,
and repairing manufacturing equipment and fixtures.

JOB DUTIES
• Conducts regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and fixtures.
• Meets with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.
• Examines machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
• Maintains work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
• Designs a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
• Assembles mechanical components according to specifications.
• Maintains equipment parts inventory and orders parts as needed.
• May assist less experience employees when completing complex assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Manage outside technical services.
• Maintain facility and compliance with local regulations
• Manage and repair/building maintenance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
This job typically requires a high school diploma or GED and requires three (3) to five (5)
years' experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Work effectively with customers, peers, and management to resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multi-limb coordination. Ability to live
50 pounds or more and stand for extended periods of time.
