The Transition Management team is part of the Sales Organization within Prime Finance.The Transition Manager is responsible for project managing the onboarding of both existing client relationships, as well as new clients onto the Prime Finance Platform.Members of the Transition Management team must have a deep understanding of product and the clients they cover, be capable of issue-spotting, problem-solving, and committed to delivering a superior client experience. The role encompasses the following main components: client engagement, including managing the client onboarding lifecycle in a timely manner; internal stakeholder engagement, ensuring all onboarding milestones are met; issue-spotting and problem-solving.The Transition Management team is responsible for driving overall onboarding efficiency and ensuring clients are on boarded in an operationally efficient manner. Responsibilities: Provide best in class Transition Management focused on our Prime Finance business Initial outreach and ongoing client dialogue until successful completion of project delivering a superior client experience Rapid identification and escalation of any “bottleneck” issues our clients face that may impede onboarding effort with Citi Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure Drive continuous enhancement of Citi products and services and partner with support groups and client to ensure Citi is a top 3 provider Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 15 years of relevant experience Previous, client-facing, middle office or operations financial services experience Strong cross-product knowledge covering equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and swaps Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies including: equity long/short, risk arbitrage, convertible arbitrage, event-driven, global macro, merger arbitrage and distressed Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Knowledge of the risk and control environment impacting both Citi and the financial industry more broadly Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication The ability to multi task and constantly assess and change priorities in line with the demands of the business and client base A desire to learn Precision, attention to detail and the commitment to deliver an excellent service to a demanding global client base Ability to communicate effectively with clients, understand and internally relay their concerns, and /or requirements Excellent project management skills S7 and S63 Required Education: Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
