Do you thrive in a team environment and enjoy the technical aspects of the sales cycle? We are hiring a Jr. Sales Engineer to join our Sales team!

Junior Sales Engineer Base salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + UNCAPPED commissions.

Duties/Responsibilities: Provide quotes for 150kW generators and below. Manage large amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. Prepare cost estimates with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel. Provide technical and engineering information to both clients and contractors. Responsible for improvements through analyzing cost -benefit ratios for equipment, supplies or service applications; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials and/or services. Contribute to sales engineering by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.

Requirements: Previous experience with high volume inbound and outbound calls. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience reading and understanding blueprints, schematics and related documents. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education/Experience: B.S. in Electrical, Application, Mechanical or Power Generation and/or 3-5 years of previous industrial sales or product training experience with electric equipment, preferably generators, switch gear or building management systems. Minimum 1-year B2B sales experience.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
