Job Overview: The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our client's portfolio of specialized industrial automation services and products in Holly Springs, NC. This position involves the promotion and sale of technical solutions, addressing and servicing the needs of both new and established accounts, and contributing significantly to the achievement of company sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Lead and drive sales within a defined territory, focusing on both existing and new account opportunities. Develop a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, aiming to convert competitive large accounts. Ensure deep account penetration across all price modes. Serve as the primary communication point for customers, providing tailored solutions. Utilize company CRM tools diligently to track customer interactions and sales progress. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Experience: Proven experience in selling technical products in a manufacturing environment. Skills: Strong consultative selling abilities, excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Certifications: Not specifically required but any relevant industry certification would be beneficial. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of industrial automation products and services, including brands like FESTO, SICK, and Universal Robots. Key Competencies: Business acumen, financial savvy, result-driven attitude, effective time management, and organizational skills. Additional Information: Work Environment: This role covers both office settings and field sales, requiring frequent visits to customer sites. Travel Requirements: Regular local and regional travel to client sites and potential customers is necessary. Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.
