Business Development Support SpecialistTyton Partners is seeking a talented, team-oriented Business Development Support Specialist to join our Marketing and Business Development team for our strategy consulting practice The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a "go-getter" mentality. As a Business Development Support Specialist your objective will be to support in expanding Tyton Partners' client base across five specific segments of the education market (K-12, higher education, corporate learning/ workforce development, PE, impact investors/ philanthropy). You will specifically be focused on helping develop greenfield opportunities for consulting practice, including researching, prospecting, and helping devise the best approach to execute customized and meaningful engagement.You will be a core member of the small but growing Marketing and Business Development team and work closely with senior business development executives, who will serve as mentors and help guide strategy and tactical execution of various business development initiatives. You will partner with the Tyton Partners' business development teams to support efforts to expand business across the global education sector, including launching targeted campaigns, CRM management and audience segmentation, identifying outreach strategies, engaging in communication, and follow-up.Primary Responsibilities:Prospect and identify potential companies, contacts, and leads for strategy consulting opportunitiesResearch and understand various lines of business and buyer personasSupport in vetting and qualifying inbound and outbound leadsSupport senior team members prepare for pitches, including building new business presentations, and researching prospectsPartner with consulting team members to implement focused outbound campaigns leveraging the firm's content marketing and thought leadershipSupport managing the Tyton Partners' CRM database (HubSpot), with a particular focus on data integrity and qualityAssist in the development of sales and marketing collateral including pitch decks, new business presentations, and statements of workBook key business development meetings with the firm's senior executivesStay up to date about Tyton Partners active and past projects and capabilitiesBe committed and curious to stay current with the evolving U.S. education sector across K-12, postsecondary and corporate learning/ workforce development sectorsContribute to enhancing Marketing and Business Development team initiativesQualifications:Bachelor's degree1-3 years of sales support or sales enablement experienceStrong and demonstrated interest in the education sectorProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including staff at remote locationsNatural orientation towards being proactive and results-orientedHigh level of integrity and dependabilityStrong oral and written communication skillsOutstanding attention to detailAdaptable to changing priorities and requestsTeam-oriented and promotes and coordinates collaborationNice-to-haves:Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software; ideally HubSpotExperience working at a professional services firm; particularly within strategy consultingKnowledge/experience of the education sectorExperience working cross-functionally with varying levels of leadership within an organization or companyAbout Tyton PartnersTyton Partners is the leading provider of strategy consulting and investment banking services to the global knowledge sector.
