Fitness Sales leader involves daily staff supervision, management and execution of sales and marketing functions. The Sales Manager is responsible for but not limited to supervision and evaluation of the Membership Advisors while achieving his/her own new membership quota, implementing the annual marketing plans, ensuring the quality of prospecting, presentations, and member orientation and ongoing customer service. Accuracy is required in daily and monthly reporting and adherence to budgets. This position plays an integral role on the Center's management team with Manager on Duty responsibilities. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with a commitment to fitness and wellness and continuous learning and an understanding for the bottom-line and business approach to job performance.Ideal candidate:Has previous sales experience and a personal passion for fitness and improving the lives of others. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or health related field, required. A minimum of three years of industry experience in sales and preferably two years of sales management experience within a fitness center or related business. Hands-on experience in fitness, rehabilitation or personal training is helpful. Demonstrated experience with establishing and surpassing performance goals. Customer service background desired.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
