POSITION SUMMARY

The Co-Manager will share responsibility for leading and managing the organization along with complementing the Co-Manager whose strengths are in sales and solar PV systems technology.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage all personnel involved with Project Management and Estimating for electrical contracting services and manage the electrical aspects of solar PV projects.
  • Solicit and prepare bids for electrical contracting projects and support RFP estimating for solar PV projects.
  • Provide leadership in electrical and Solar PV processes including site analysis, project design, interconnection activities, as well as electrical service and field construction activities.
  • Manage procurement of long lead electrical materials and resources for upcoming projects.
  • Oversee field reviews of all projects regarding interconnection feasibilities, utility requirements, and field connections.
  • Lead managers, forepersons, and the technical team to determine the best method of construction and management of resources including material, equipment, power sources, work schedule timelines, manpower, manpower estimates, and labor budgets.
  • Work closely with other team members on all aspects of electrical projects and solar PV operations.
  • Collaborate with our experts to provide technical support and introduce technical advancements.
This position is full-time. It can be a fast-paced environment and may require extended hours.

Position Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a journeyworker electrician license is required (for Minnesota and/or Wisconsin).
  • An active Master Electrician license is a plus.
  • Experience in solar PV is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience with computerized electrical estimating software.
