Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating prospects, providing insurance solutions, and supporting the client.
  • Create and maintain prospect lists of potential clients through warm and cold calling.
  • Identify clients' insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and potential premium savings.
  • Obtain accurate information from prospects for comprehensive submissions to insurers.
  • Maintain concern for timeliness and accuracy when interacting with clients, agency, and company personnel.
  • Work within a team structure to help provide clients with continued support even after sales cycle is completed.
  • Perform other duties that may be required or assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
  • 4-year college degree preferred, or applicable work experience.
  • Commercial Property & Casualty experience preferred
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere with a willingness to ask for and receive feedback at all levels.
  • Able to effectively negotiate and stay pleasantly persistent despite rejection.
  • Goal-orientation and excellent time management skills.
  • Organizational skills and proficiency with PC and MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Self-management aptitude and drive to continuously learn.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
