Motion Technologies is one of four ITT Value Centers focused on the Transportation industry. The Motion Technologies Value Center generates over $862M in revenues and is made up of three businesses.

Position Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for selling vehicle suspension products in Passenger Rail and Transit Bus markets.

This role is fully remote.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary interface to assigned customer accounts, representing the company with integrity and professionalism.
  • Conduct sales calls to both Passenger Rail and Bus OEM’s and transit authorities
  • Work directly with manufacture representatives and distributors in non-USA markets in the America’s.
  • Lead preparation and submission of responses to Requests for Proposal from Customers, by interacting with other departments in the organization (Engineering, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain).
  • Lead new business development calls to continually grow market share.
  • Assures current and potential customers by knowing who we are and what we can do to provide product solutions for their applications. Present our capabilities and product solutions for customer-specific applications.
  • Ability to make sales contacts, produce market expansion, margin growth and business development in stated markets.
  • Develops and implements innovative market strategies.
  • Provide validation of the solutions, costs, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments within target markets.
  • Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
  • Partners with multiple teams, when needed to and addresses customer services issues as they arise.
  • Analyze, assess, and report to leadership monthly orders/sales.
  • Maintain a funnel pipeline of upcoming deals to be reviewed monthly with leadership.


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience selling in Passenger Rail and/or Transit Bus markets.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proactive sales and marketing professional who has experience selling technical products.
  • Data mining and analysis skills to analyze customer and industry data.
  • Ability to create a sense of urgency throughout the organization on the importance of meeting customer requirements.
  • Ability to close business.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and web applications.
  • Experience successfully executing new business development calls.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and balancing workload in an efficient manner.
  • 50% travel (Including International travel) is required for customer sales calls / presentations and trade shows (some weekend travel is required)
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
