Our client specializes in manufacturing solutions,custom automation, switches and power distribution equipment with a primary focus on the Alternative Energy market. They are a stable, family run business and are looking for a technical salesprofessional to focus on key account sales.
Job Description
The Sales Engineer will be tasked with prospecting new customers, managing existing customers, meeting face to face and virtually to manage projects and close sales.
The Sales Engineer must support sales initiativesfor their designated product lines, as well as communicate technical aspects effectively with product, engineering and production teams to help drive all sales activities.
The Sales Engineer will be required to present to clients, demonstrate products, and evaluate existingequipment and projects to recommend solutions for future projects.
Requirements
:
4+ years in a technical sales, sales engineering, automation or similar role, with experience in client-facing situations
Previous experience working with electrical power products & schematics with the ability to identifyAC and DC voltage and support the design/build process.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred,but not required
Location:
This is a hybrid work environment where employees are expected to spend 2-3 days a week in the Hartford, CT office and will also be in the field with clients.

Base Salary
: $95,000 - $110,000 + 10% bonus
