You will be working with a team responsible for our user experience, visual design, & custom design systems for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual design, solving design challenges and the ability to articulate design choices effectively. Projects: We're actively enhancing our digital ecosystem Currently, we're revamping our public website to elevate user experience. Simultaneously, we're crafting an internal data management platform tailored for custom home construction data. Additionally, our upcoming mobile application will empower Superintendents and Subcontractors with vital project data. Looking ahead, our roadmap brims with exciting projects, including a customer-centric mobile app, extensive feature expansions for our internal web application, pioneering experiments with AR, LLM/Chat interfaces, and much more Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and developers to create visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces. Develop and maintain a consistent visual language and design system that aligns with brand guidelines and enhances user engagement. Conceptualize and execute high-quality iconography, illustrations, and other visual assets to support product features and marketing initiatives. Design responsive web and mobile interfaces that prioritize usability and accessibility while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Utilize vector design tools such as Adobe Illustrator to create scalable and adaptable graphics for various screen sizes and resolutions. Implement micro-interactions and animations to enhance user interactions and create delightful user experiences. Create motion graphics and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and demonstrate user flow. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions, incorporating feedback into iterative design processes. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in visual design, UX/UI design, and emerging technologies, applying new knowledge to enhance design solutions. Qualifications: 4 years of experience as a visual designer, UI designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD), Sketch, Figma, or equivalent software. Solid understanding of UX design principles and methodologies, with a passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences. Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms, with a focus on responsive design and a mobile-first approach. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain design consistency and quality across various projects and deliverables. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
