HOW AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Working in a discreet environment handling sensitive and personal information daily Completing transactional duties with special attention to detail, being organized, and multi-tasking Interacting with our ongoing POC customers, team members/Leads, and employees via phone, Skype or email Handling and receiving incoming and outgoing correspondence As an Administrative Assistant II, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Under government direction, the Administrative Assistant (AA) level II shall provide administrative support services to assist in meeting the mission requirements of customers throughout the sponsor's organization to include supporting any component on an as needed basis The AA works under broad supervision and will train/mentor less experienced contractor AAs. Additionally, the AA will work independently and as a member of a larger team Position requires access to information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974, therefore discretion is paramount Manage workload effectively to meet productivity and quality standards set by the Sponsor Tracking and scanning records or files Interact with and support mission security analysts and security support personnel Provide exceptional customer service, verbally and written, including anticipating customer needs Submit accurate component statistics on a monthly and ad-hoc basis Provide accurate and timely responses to customer requests for information or materials File retrieval from tall and short shelving units Move boxes and stacks of paperwork weighing up to 20 pounds Produce documents that require minimal editing utilizing standard software (MSOutlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint) Knowledge of and ability to use standard office equipment(computers, facsimile machines, printers, scanners, reproduction machines, etc.) Knowledge of an ability to use web-based applications (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) for customer specific systems (on-the-job training to be provided as needed) WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance HS Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience The work schedule is flexible between the hours of 5:30am - 5:00pm Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint The position is on customer site GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: 401K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certification Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays OpportunityOwned GDITCareers WeAreGDIT Jet CJPost EAPolyReferrals2023 AdminPoly2023 IntelAdminJobs Work Requirements .cls-1{fill:none;stroke:5b6670;stroke-miterlimit:10;stroke-width:2px} Years of Experience 2 years of related experience may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree .cls-2{fill:none;stroke:5b6670;stroke-miterlimit:10;stroke-width:2px} Certification Travel Required None .cls-3{fill:none;stroke:5d666f;stroke-miterlimit:10} Citizenship U.S. Citizenship Required Salary and Benefit Information The likely hourly rate for this position is between $23.80 - $32.20. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
