Our work depends on a Cyber Security Architect - Intermediate joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). HOW A CYBER SECURITY ARCHITECT - INTERMEDIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Cyber Security Architects are responsible for the overall maintenance of an organization's information technology security systems and protocols. They design and implement security measures for hardware, software, and network platforms to ensure protection from cyber-attacks and any other possible harmful intrusions that could compromise or damage an organization's data and network infrastructure. These architects assess existing cybersecurity systems and protocols and design and implement upgrades to existing measures as well as implementing new procedures. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Associate's Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree (computer science, engineering, or related discipline) with 5 years of experience Required Skillset: Work across teams, and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts. Deal with escalations. Make assessments, recommendations or provide solutions to resolve issues. Write and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, etc. Clearance Level: TS/SCI Required Certification(s): DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security or equivalent May require additional security certifications within 30 days after start such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
