Specialist, Health and Safety What you'll do: Position will include site-wide Occupational Health and Safety duties related to compliance oversight and injury reduction. Assists the Safety Manager in monitoring and developing the Health System's worker safety and health programs. Additional duties include supporting incident investigation, implementation of company safety standards and best practices, and providing information and metrics in support of achieving functional and business goals and objectives. Leads audits, inspections and investigations and coordinates resolution of issues. Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions. developing and facilitating training programs for office and field staff at all levels of the organization. Facilitate training using various methods of delivery, including in-person, virtual, or e-Learning based training. Update and maintain existing safety records and content. Performs accident investigations and conducts ergonomic assessments. Facilitates staff injury prevention and transitional Duty return-to-work program through accident and injury investigations, cause analysis, and corrective action plans. Collects and analyzes worker injury data.
